Welcome to Society of Leisure LLC (“Society of Leisure,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and participation in our wellness retreats (“Retreats”) offered for sale online. By accessing or using our website or registering for a Retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Society of Leisure offers curated wellness retreats focused on unplugging, self-care, and community connection through in-person experiences. Retreat packages may include accommodations, meals, activities, and related services as described on our website and in promotional materials.
2. Registration and Payment
To reserve a spot on a Retreat, you must complete the online registration and submit the required deposit or full payment as stated.
Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our Refund Policy.
Final payment is due as outlined in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your reservation.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Our Refund Policy, detailed separately on our website, applies to all bookings.
We encourage all participants to review it carefully prior to registration.
Please contact us promptly with any cancellation requests.
4. Participant Responsibilities
You affirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in the Retreat activities.
You agree to comply with all safety guidelines, codes of conduct, and instructions provided by Society of Leisure and its staff.
You acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks and you accept full responsibility for your personal well-being during the Retreat.
5. Travel and Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Retreat location.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel delays.
Society of Leisure is not liable for any travel-related issues.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Society of Leisure and its affiliates, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in our Retreats or use of our services.
You release Society of Leisure from any claims related to personal injury, property damage, or other losses incurred during the Retreat.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and materials, is owned by Society of Leisure or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without express written permission.
8. Photography and Media
By participating in our Retreats, you grant Society of Leisure permission to capture and use photographs or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes unless you notify us otherwise in writing.
9. Privacy
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Changes to Terms
Society of Leisure reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of our website or participation in our Retreats after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
